The alleged incidents are said to have taken place at Kinderland Preschool @ Woodlands Mart.

Responding to a concerned post by Facebook user Claudia Tan, Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC, Poh Li San, expressed her condemnation of the teacher's actions and her commitment to assisting affected parents and children.

She confirmed cooperation with both ECDA and the police in the ongoing investigation.

Suspect apprehended on Tuesday in alleged child ill-treatment case


Law enforcement authorities successfully identified and apprehended the individual on 29 August.

In connection to a case of alleged ill-treatment of children, a 33-year-old woman is now under arrest.

Scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday, she will face charges of ill-treatment of a child or young person.

If convicted, she could be sentenced to a maximum of eight years' imprisonment, a fine of up to S$8,000 (US$5,900), or both.
