Indonesia’s General Election Commission clarifies Prabowo-Gibran presidential nomination amid Gibran’s PDIP cadre status
The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) had no objections to Gibran Rakabuming’s candidacy alongside Prabowo Subianto. The PDIP registered another pair, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD. Prabowo supported Gibran’s continued PDIP membership.
