In a significant stride toward women’s empowerment and mindful leadership, the social enterprise Class Living marked a notable achievement during the inaugural Her Courage Leaders Summit, held at the ERA APAC Centre on 22 March.

This event was characterized by the signing of six Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with various organizations sharing a collective aim to empower women and promote transformative leadership.

The summit brought together women entrepreneurs and leaders at the forefront of global change, acting as a beacon for unity, celebration, and elevation in their fields.

The partnerships formed through these MOUs include collaborations with Social Innovation Park, Unicorns for Good, Asia Singa Hospitality, SEAFE Holdings, the online magazine Womenlines, and Bespoke Education.

These alliances are committed to collaborative efforts that enhance the capability development of organizations and individuals. This includes training programs, workshops, and efforts to raise awareness and outreach in leadership development.

The event was supported by the Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry (ABWCI), with Minister of State for Education & Manpower Gan Siow Huang gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The summit’s goals align with the Singapore government’s initiatives to create opportunities for women, further entrenching the nation’s commitment to shaping a future inclusive of women’s contributions.

Class Living introduced several initiatives aimed at fostering a community of female empowerment and leadership. Women of Courage Asia (WOCA), Her Courage Biz Network (HCBN), and the Transform With Courage Bootcamp (TWCB) are among the groundbreaking efforts to support women’s transformation, leadership development, and societal impact across Asia and beyond.

Lilian Ong, CEO and Founder of Class Living and Women of Courage Asia, emphasized the importance of courage, love, authenticity, stewardship, and significance in overcoming life’s challenges and making impactful changes.

The summit also featured ERA’s Deputy CEO Doris Ong, who highlighted the importance of supporting women’s dreams and aspirations for a positive community impact.

The Her Courage Leaders Summit also commemorated the fifth anniversary of Women of Courage Asia by honoring 10 female entrepreneurs for their impactful contributions.

The event was a confluence of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all geared towards fostering a supportive environment for women’s growth and empowerment. This initiative is a testament to the growing movement towards a more inclusive and empowered future for women in Singapore and across Asia.
