MALAYSIA: Netizens were delighted to witness a heartwarming moment involving a Malaysian actress and TV host who received a monetary gift from the Malaysian Queen after revealing her pregnancy during the royal visit to Media Prima Bhd in Selangor on 17 January.
Uyaina Arshad shared the touching encounter on her Instagram and X page, capturing the attention of netizens. In the video, Uyaina is seen conversing with King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Queen Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah. Upon sharing her pregnancy news, the Queen appeared pleasantly surprised, briefly touching Uyaina’s stomach before turning to one of her bodyguards.
In an unexpected gesture, the Queen took money from her purse, an act Uyaina revealed in the video’s caption, “The Queen gave me money because I am pregnant.”
Expressing gratitude for the royal visit, Uyaina wrote on her Instagram page, “Thank you to the King and Queen for the visit. May you be blessed with long life and Allah’s blessings.”
Another post on X revealed that another pregnant staff member present during the royal visit also received money from the Queen as she passed by.

A netizen commented on Uyaina’s post, sharing that the Queen had undergone 16 IVF attempts to conceive and speculated that the Queen’s happiness upon hearing about pregnancies might be linked to her struggles.
Adding a delightful twist to the visit, the King and Queen served as news presenters in a special edition of Buletin Utama at Sri Pentas.
Netizens were amused by the Royal Couple’s appearance in ‘Buletin Diraja,’ describing it as adorable.
The couple showcased their laid-back demeanor, even joking among themselves after presenting the news about their special appearance.

“Reporting news about oneself, so cute,” commented a netizen under TV3’s X page video, while another praised the Royal Couple’s news presenting skills, saying, “They both nail it!”
Earlier, the Royal Couple garnered widespread attention and became viral for their down-to-earth personas and touching actions, particularly during their Highnesses’ Discover Borneo Expedition last year.
The Queen expressed concerns about the deteriorating roads in Sabah and, in November, adopted a 2-year-old girl with ‘werewolf syndrome‘ from Sarawak.
Additionally, the King earned praise for humbly singing and dancing with guests at an event in Sabah.
