Singapore civil servants to receive 0.45-month mid-year bonus, additional payments of up to S$250 for junior officers
Singapore civil servants will receive a 0.45-month mid-year bonus, with junior grade officers getting an additional bonuses of up to S$250, Public Service Division announced.
Singapore’s civil servants are set to receive a 0.45-month mid-year bonus, with junior grade officers receiving an additional payment of up to S$250, the Public Service Division (PSD) announced on Thursday (20 June).
In detail, civil servants in grades equivalent to MX13(I) and MX14 will receive an additional payment of S$150.
Those in grades equivalent to MX15 and MX16, as well as those in the Operations Support Scheme (OSS) Grades III and IV, will receive an additional payment of S$250.
“This mid-year payment takes into consideration both the better economic outlook and downside risks that remain in the global economy,” said PSD.
Last year, civil servants received a 0.3-month mid-year bonus and a 0.6-month year-end bonus in addition to the non-pensionable annual allowance of one month, commonly known as the 13th-month bonus.
“The government will continue to monitor the economic situation closely. It will take into consideration the guidelines by the National Wages Council, which will be released later in the year, in determining the year-end annual variable component payments,” PSD added.
