A 39-year-old driver in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, tested positive for methamphetamine after allegedly driving dangerously and triggering a four-vehicle collision. Police also found a packet of powder suspected to be ketamine in his car.

MALAYSIA: A 39-year-old man tested positive for methamphetamine after allegedly driving dangerously and causing a four-vehicle collision along the Seremban-Kuala Pilah road in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on Thursday (22 October 2026).
The crash occurred at about 7.45am at Kilometer 25 of the road, which connects Seremban and Kuala Pilah.
A video of the incident later circulated on social media, showing a Honda City striking a motorcycle before continuing along the road.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad confirmed the incident and said a urine screening test found that the driver had tested positive for methamphetamine, according to Sinar Harian.
Car hits motorcycle before crashing into bridge wall
Preliminary investigations found that the Honda City was travelling from Kuala Pilah towards Seremban when it struck the rear of a Modenas Kriss motorcycle.
Instead of stopping, the driver continued driving before hitting a bridge wall on the left side of the road while navigating a bend.
The impact caused the Honda City to spin around and come to rest across the road.
A Proton Exora, a Honda CR-V and a Yamaha 135LC motorcycle travelling along the same stretch were unable to avoid the car and collided with it.
Driver injured, suspected drugs found in car
The Honda City driver sustained a fracture to his right arm, while the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
The occupants of the other vehicles were not injured, police said.
During an inspection of the Honda City, officers also found a plastic packet containing a translucent white powder suspected to be ketamine.
Police are investigating the case under Section 44(1A) of Malaysia’s Road Transport Act 1987, which concerns driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in circumstances involving injury or death.
