SINGAPORE: A 3-meter-long python was spotted near Block 515 in Jurong West early this morning.

A member of the public noticed the snake at around 7:30 a.m. and promptly alerted ACRES (Animal Concerns Research and Education Society) and the police.

By 7.46 am, the python had slithered into a nearby drain, just as the police arrived on the scene.

Despite their efforts, both the police and ACRES were unable to track the python, as it disappeared from sight.

According to the member of public, ACRES mentioned that it becomes challenging to follow up on such incidents when the animal is no longer visible and to search for it.

The police are believed to have contacted the town council to determine where the drain might lead in hopes of locating the snake.

Ask Lee Bee Wah come & catch lah.
She Snake a lot with Snake what???

SPF catch snakes?
How can?
They themselves also ‘eat snakes’, correct?😆😆😆🤣🤣😆😆

One should report political snakes – numbering about a 100 dress in white often to blend with cleanliness, hard to catch them as they blend, right?

Clearing out nonstop the animals natural habitats …so the animals are being dispersed to seek out new living spaces…sad..
We seldom come across so many reports, but these days so often…..deer, wildbigs, monkeys..crocodiles, owls etc etc…
We humans selfishly think thos planet only belongs to us…
Many never learn to share..sad.

With the Town Council no longer caring about the multiplying pest problem and neighbourhood cats also ageing, no longer interested in hunting. The snakes are moving in to enjoy the rat buffet.

At least these snakes are useful to the country. I can’t say the same about the ones in Parliament house.
