SINGAPORE: On Tuesday (14 Nov) afternoon, a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-16 fighter jet underwent an emergency landing at Changi Airport due to a reported “malfunction.”
The RSAF promptly shared details of the incident via its official Facebook page, reassuring the public that the jet landed safely around 12.10 pm.
Upon landing, it was discovered that the aircraft had a deflated tyre.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Following the incident, the aircraft was efficiently towed off the runway. Despite this unforeseen event, Changi Airport’s operations remained unaffected.
