The bride and groom, identified as Apattt and her husband exchanged vows this past May.

Although this incident unfolded months ago, it has recently garnered renewed attention after Apattt shared a captivating video on TikTok, sparking widespread discussion among netizens.

The unfortunate incident unfolded during the wedding ceremony in Sukabumi Regency, prompting the bride to halt proceedings in disbelief.

Apattt couldn’t conceal her profound embarrassment and disappointment at the unexpected fly attack, which disrupted what was meant to be a cherished and unforgettable moment.

Unearthing the source of the invasion

Apattt revealed that this fly infestation was traced back to a nearby chicken farm a mere three meters away from their idyllic wedding venue.

Despite providing the farm owner with ample notice of their wedding plans months in advance, fate took a cruel turn when the farm reopened just days before the reception.

In a desperate attempt to regain control, Apattt and her family employed various methods, including fly repellent and potent insecticides.

Sadly, their efforts proved futile against the overwhelming swarm of flies, numbering in the hundreds of thousands.

The wedding’s undesirable guests

Video footage captured the relentless flies alighting on delicate flowers and infiltrating nearly every nook and cranny of the wedding venue.

Their unwelcome presence even led some guests to decline food, fearing contamination, exacerbating the couple’s humiliation and disappointment.

Apattt clarified that her intention in sharing the video was not to point fingers but rather to convey her emotions and shed light on what transpired months ago.

Flies onslaught go viral

The video, since it was uploaded on 30 August, garnered over 4.7 million views, eliciting sympathy and support from netizens.
