JustCo and Changi Airport Group launch Asia’s first airport co-working space with Pay-Per-Minute model
JustCo partners with Changi Airport Group to inaugurate Asia’s first pay-per-minute airport co-working centre. Set to redefine ‘work anytime, anywhere’, the centre will offer 24/7 access to workspaces, a nap zone, and food vending machines, catering to the evolving needs of modern business travellers.
SINGAPORE: In a trailblazing move in the co-working sector, JustCo, Asia’s leading flexible workspace provider, announced today its partnership with Changi Airport Group (CAG) to launch the first pay-per-minute co-working centre in an airport at Changi Airport Terminal 3 (T3).
This innovative initiative targets the post-pandemic return of travel and face-to-face conferences.
In a push to redefine the “work anytime, anywhere” paradigm, JustCo plans to offer 24/7 access to on-demand workspaces, including a nap zone and food vending machines. This full-service co-working facility caters to business travellers and modern workers at one of the world’s busiest airports.
Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2023, the new centre, dubbed JustCo Changi Airport T3, will be the first to offer round-the-clock co-working access.
The facility will feature one of JustCo’s largest hot-desking zones to date, with close to 50 workstations. With a pay-per-minute pricing model, it aims to provide a flexible and convenient solution for individuals requiring a workspace for a few hours or mere minutes.
Apart from hot-desk workstations, the centre will offer private office suites, a work lounge, meeting rooms equipped with video conferencing tools, quiet nooks, and collaboration areas. These amenities will support the diverse work modalities of today’s mobile workers.
Adding to its value proposition, JustCo Changi Airport T3 will host a partitioned nap zone and a pantry with food vending machines, allowing individuals a comfortable space for rest during long working hours or flight transits.
JustCo’s strategic decision to introduce an airport co-working space is expected to catalyse the uptake of such solutions among business travellers.
As Singapore continues to be a key player in facilitating the recovery of international business travel, JustCo Changi Airport T3 is well-situated to become a popular stop for transient travellers.
This multi-functional and traveller-friendly co-working facility is expected to add a unique touch to the existing lifestyle offerings at Changi Airport.
Kong Wan Long, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of JustCo, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating that this partnership with CAG will revolutionise the work-life balance experience for frequent business travellers and digital nomads. “Our convenient and cost-effective workspace solution offers amenities such as round-the-clock access, nap zones, food vending machines, and meeting rooms with video conferencing tools,” he said.
Ms Lim Peck Hoon, Executive Vice President for Commercial in CAG, also expressed optimism about the collaboration. “With the significant resurgence of in-person meetings and MICE events worldwide, we have been working closely with JustCo to offer a world-class ‘pay-per-minute’ workspace option in Changi Airport, further enriching the airport experience for our customers,” she said.
