SWITZERLAND: In a heartwarming event, the much-adored couple, Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt, celebrated their official union on Thursday (27 Jul) in a private ceremony held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The couple had been inseparable for an impressive 6,992 days, a testament to their enduring love.

The wedding, an intimate affair attended solely by close family, friends, and relatives, radiated joy and happiness.

Among those who couldn’t contain their excitement was Brazilian F1 driver Felipe Massa (42), who took to Instagram on Friday (28 Jul) to extend his heartfelt congratulations, writing, “Happy marriage #JeanTodt & #MichelleYeoh love you so much.”

The romance between Todt (77) and Yeoh (66) began in the bustling city of Shanghai, China, on June 4, 2004.

After a whirlwind month and a half of dating, Todt took a decisive step and proposed to Yeoh on 26 July 2004, setting the stage for their remarkable journey together.

The star-studded event saw the presence of esteemed figures from the motorsport world, including Stefano Domenicali, former team principal of Scuderia Ferrari and current CEO of Formula One Group, and Luca di Montezemolo, former chairman of Ferrari.

Nicolas Todt, Jean Todt’s son from a previous marriage, was also among the cherished guests.

For motorsports enthusiasts, Jean Todt needs no introduction. He boasts a rich background in the field, having served as the general manager and CEO of Scuderia Ferrari from 1993 to 2007 and later as the president of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) from 2009 to 2021.

Michelle Yeoh, a captivating talent born and raised in Ipoh, Perak, is celebrated for her martial arts roles in the 1990s and her outstanding work in Hollywood movies, including “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997).

Her recent triumph as the Academy Award winner for Best Actress for her breathtaking performance in “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (2022) has only added to her illustrious career.

Their love story, which began at the Shanghai Grand Prix in 2004, has evolved into a beautiful partnership that has garnered the affection of fans around the world.
